A young man recently lost his life in an accident just outside of Austin. This motorcycle accident is truly a tragedy that will, without a doubt, leave the victim's family seeking answers in their time of grief. Currently, the specifics of this particular incident are still being investigated by local law enforcement, so few answers are readily available.
The victim, in his 20s, was reportedly hit by a truck that turned onto SH 130 from Palmer Lane. While he was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash, the injuries suffered were simply too severe to overcome. He reportedly died at the scene of the collision.
The occupants of the truck, two individuals, were said to be unharmed in the incident. Police have yet to supply any further information about this accident. At this time, it is unknown if any criminal charges will be filed against the truck driver.
Losing a loved one in a sudden and unexpected way can take a terrible toll on family life. A motorcycle accident, such as this one, will likely leave the victim's family needing to know how it happened, why it happened and wondering if any legal recourse is available. An Austin area attorney will be able to answer any legal questions the decedent's family may have and assist in filing a civil claim if appropriate. If negligence is found to have contributed to the wreck, a successfully presented wrongful death claim may result in a monetary judgement, offering financial relief for any economic losses suffered as a result of the tragedy.
